Empowering Critical Minds & Future Voices

Our vision is to be the leading catalyst for a new kind of education—innovative, inclusive, and adaptive to the fast-changing world young people are inheriting. We achieve this by teaching critical thinking through our Critical Minds courses and investing in youth empowerment through our national Future Voices debate and poetry competitions.

STORY

Our approach started with a novel, The Dawn of AI, which inspires Critical Thinking, using story to engage students with real-world dilemmas.

curriculum

Our Critical Minds curriculum transforms education from something students receive into something they do: Hands-on, inclusive learning powered by safe EdTech tools and Creative Writing Projects.

competition

Youth Empowerment is at the heart of what we do. We ensure that students have pathways to apply their learning through Competition, Citizenship, and Career-learning.

It started with a story...

The year is 2035 and New Oxford is a fully automated city powered its five districts: the Wind District, the Solar District, the Tidal District, the Fusion District, the Geothermal District.

This coming-of-age story follows non-verbal AuDHD teen, Ada Ikenna, and her support drone, ACE. She uses haptic gloves with sign-to-speech technology to communicate, with Ace as her voice.

Ada’s mother, Dr. Ikenna, invented the world’s first AGI, Adanna 6, and died in a tragic accident shortly thereafter – her technology dying with her as part of a failsafe.

On Ada’s 16th birthday, the technology reawakens and Ada accidentally unleashes it onto the fully automated city of New Oxford.

Ada and her brother, Ayden, must decide:

Will AI save humanity, or end it?

Teachers & students asked for a curriculum...

Our Critical Minds curriculum and it’s lessons are broken down into five parts:

  1. SEL Objective
  2. AI Literacy Objective
  3. Chapter reading of ‘The Dawn of AI’
  4. English Objective
  5. Hands-on Activity

The curriculum is project-based. The final project is a debate speech about what the future of technology & AI should look like.

SEND inclusion is embedded throughout as the story follows Ada Ikenna, a non-verbal AuDHD teen and her AI support drone, Ace.
